  1. Explain in your own words what it means that the Bible has “divine-human authorship.”
  2. What is textual criticism?  (Note: This is not the same as Bible translation.)  Why is it necessary?
  3. What is a Bible translation?  Describe the two main approaches to translation discussed in Chapter 1. Which approach do you feel most comfortable with? Why?
