This course provides ministry practitioners and lay leaders with an introduction to major approaches to resolving ethnic and racial cultural divides in the US. Participants make sense of their own experiences and trajectory. Biblical foundations, ministry implications, and responses to problematic approaches to reconciliation are considered. Intercultural competence is introduced as a useful approach.
This course introduces participants to ideas in the book “Commissioned To Love,” and guides them in developing a collective language around ministry challenges, and an action plan.
