Crown 30 Course

In this course, you’ll learn major approaches to resolving ethnic and cultural divides in the US, and grasp useful principles of intercultural competence. We’ll consider biblical foundations, ministry implications and helpful responses to problematic approaches to reconciliation.

What you’ll learn in this course:

  • Explain major features of ethnic and racial history (and present) in the US.
  • Recognize your own racial/ethnic history (and present).
  • Demonstrate familiarity with Biblical foundations for issues of diversity and reconciliation.
  • Communicate features of the major approaches to building relationships across groups, including cross-cultural, multicultural, diversity, and critical.
  • Understand the potential benefits of the intercultural perspective.

Earn a Certificate and Get Credit

You can articulate 3 academic credits into Crown College at no additional cost if you successfully complete this course and all assignments with a demonstrated 80% proficiency. This credits may be applied toward an elective in an undergraduate academic program.
