Missions and the Local Church
About this course
Discover how you can help the Church – made up of all ethnicities – take all of Jesus to all the world. In this course, we’ll examine the global component of the missional lifestyle and role of the local church in the work of missions and cross-cultural ministry.
What you’ll learn in this course:
- Articulate a biblical and theological understanding of missions and the missio Dei.
- Gain an understanding of how the local church can be involved with missions and how to promote missions awareness throughout the year.
- Apply course material directly to your present ministry situation.
Dr. Rich Noble
Rich Noble, D.Min. is the founder and director of the Center for Missional Engagement in Pittsburgh, PA, where he lives with his wife, Amy. Together they raised four children and gained a son-in-law and granddaughter along the way. Rich also serves as a pastor and missions mobilizer with The Christian & Missionary Alliance, as well as adjunct faculty at Crown College and Geneva College.
